Our Coaching Philosophy

Energy VBC’s coaching staff follows our mission statement and dedication to the player. They are there to build off the natural ability of the player; honing in on existing skills, building new skills and instilling “volleyball intelligence”. This helps the athletes take it to the next step whether it be grade school, high school, college, or professional play. We are there to help you get where you want to be.

All of our coaches have played and or coached in all areas above bringing the athletes a complete set of experience and knowledge to take advantage of. They are there for the player and team to reach the highest level of competition.

At Energy VBC, we like to work on the whole athlete. Our coaches are here because of a passion for the game. We work to instill that same passion into all of our players.

Skill Development

Our coaches break down the fundamentals of the sport and through repetition create the muscle memory necessary to excel in all aspects of the game.

Teamwork

We not only focus on the athlete but the group of athletes. Unlike many other sports, volleyball requires the understanding, respect, and friendship among teammates. Communication and understanding of teammates allows them to work together and win together. In order to be successful, we work on all of these aspects to create a fun, friendly, but also effective environment for our players.

Work Ethic

By providing a competitive practice environment, our players develop the hard work ethic needed to be successful in not only volleyball but all aspects of life. Our game-like situations create a visible scenario for competition at tournaments to ensure that we are comfortable and ready for anything that comes our way.
