Chirag (Cheech) Patel
Satellite Coach, Rock Island
This is Coach Patel¹s second year coaching for Energy VBC. Coach Cheech played high school volleyball at Maine East playing outside and middle during his high school years.
After graduation from Maine East High School, he played for The University of Iowa volleyball team and graduated in May 2008 with a BA in Communications and Business. During his collegiate career coach Patel played rightside, outside, and libero.
While stuyding abroad at Universidad de Alicante in Spain he continued his playing career. He remains active as a volleyball player, including beach volleyball.
Coach Patel is coaching both Boys¹ and Girls¹ Energy VBC teams this year.
